The Benson during the holidays is worth a special trip, even all the way from Southern California! The massive, stunning, beautifully decorated Christmas tree, countless poinsettias everywhere, perpetual fire in the oversized fireplace, and amazing gingerbread town combine to create a magical setting. The staff is incredible—attentive, welcoming, and experts at what they do. We stayed for three nights and took advantage of much the hotel had to offer. Had cocktails in the bar, a delicious breakfast served by the phenomenal waiter Bobby in the dining room, sipped coffee by the fireplace, and in the mornings took advantage of Hilton’s reliably excellent, large fitness room. Highly recommend.
